pulsar search test data in psrfits format:

SETUP:

• The sampling rate, pol type :aa+bb=polAdding,aabbuuff=stokes, duration of observation , and adc blanking is specified in the table below.
  
• filenames:
  
• projid.yyyymmdd.bNsMg0.nnnnn.fits  Before 01feb09
  
• projid.yyyymmdd.psrname.bNsMg0.nnnnn.fits After 01feb09
  
• bNsMg0.. N is the beam.
  
• bNsMg0.. M is the band   s0 is the 1450 band, s1 is the 1300 band. Each band is  a separate file
• Each new scan has a filenumber that is a multiple of 100. 
  
• If multiple files/scan then the filenumber increments by 1.
  
• Directories:
• NFS: Each beam in a separate directory: /share/pdataN/pdev  N=0..6
  
• pdev fileservers:
• hostnames: pdevsL L=1..7 (beam=L-1).
  
• Each beam is on a separate fileserver.
• On each fileserver files are in: /dump/pdev
  

09oct09: single pixel lbw,327 stokes

Common setup:

• 512 channels over 172.032 Mhz bandwidth
• sample at  1000 usecs (see header for exact value).
• full stokes: aa,bb,uu,vv
• adc blanking off
• 10 secs hardware winking cal (25 hz) with telescope offset 10Amin from pulsar (this was not far enough for the 327 beam to get off the pulsar).
• 60 secs on source.
• I should have just kept the same source name for all observations so the filenames didn't become so confusing..
• Files located in:
• /share/pdataN/pdev/  .. where N is the beam number in .bNs1g0. part of the filename.
• eg. x101.20091009.B1737+13.b1s1g0.00200.fits is in /share/pdata1/pdev/
  

Lbw setup:

• 4 172 Mhz bands centered at: 1205, 1370, 1540, and 1665 Mhz

327 setup:

• 1 band of 57.344 Mhz bandwidth  centered at 327 Mhz.
