Freq After apr15
During apr2015 punta
salinas is undergoing an upgrade. Previously it could transmit on
18 dual channel frequencies. After the upgrade they will be
capable of transmitting on 100 dual channel frequencies.
We've learned the following information about the upgrade (as of
14apr15):
- Punta Salinas has been requested to not transmit on
frequencies used by other radars on the island.
- The table below shows the xmit freq of these radars, and the
frequencies they are asking punta salinas not to use

- Punta salinas says they need to always transmit using at least
two center freq (4 tx freq) and these centers must be separated
by at least 23 Mhz,.
- The table below lists the 100 freq channels, the frequency
number, the center of the band, the two transmit frequencies,
and whether this frequency can be used or not.
- green areas are frequencies that can be used
- the red areas are frequencies that can not be used.
- For each radar i've coded the frequencies they transmit in
color.
- These show up in the cfr columns of punta salinas as well as
the hi,lo xmt
