Surveying the tertiary

01may04 tertiary survey
Alfa was installed on 21apr04. The tertiary was resurveyed
by lynn baker and ellen howell on 01may04. Only 2 paddles were used (the
other had be bumped when re enforcing the turret.
The survey was done with the design files relative
to the P3 rotation
points of the tertiary. This separated out the rotation and translation
better than the dome center line origin. The offsets used were:
dsnModX= dsnX + 204. inches
dsnModZ= dsnZ + 385. inches
The ter actuators get shorter as you increase the encoder:
+ encoder hor moves away from secondary (-x dome centerline)
+ encoder ver moves up.
