Intro

    On 06jun23 azimuth swings were done with the cooled wide band receiver using the wb3 filter (2750-3450 MHz). Az swings were done -90 to +270 at
el=(6,10,20...,80) degrees.

Setup:

• The 12meter receiver used the wb3 filter
• there were 2 1" shims installed when this  data was taken.
  
• 5 mock spectrometer were used:
  
• 172.032 MHz bw polA,B recorded
• cfr:  2846 2988 3130 3272 3414
  
• 142 MHz spacing
• 4096 freq channels
• .5 sec integrations.
• Cals were not used during the observation.
  

• The telescope pattern was:
• az swing at 1 deg/sec between -100 and 280 (and then reversing)
• after each swing the elevation was stepped to the next elevation,
• we did not do cw and ccw at the same elevation.
• datataking started at 14:55. we finished at 15:54
  
• The tcl command file user/p12m/x101/230606_azswingwb3.tcl was used to take the data.

Processing the data

• Each azswing was read in with  the idl routine masazswinginp().
• The median spectra for each freq band of an az swing was used as a bandpass correction.
  
• A dynamic spectra was then generated for each freq band of each az swing.
• An rfi freq region of each spectra was used to flatten the image.
